Giving & Support

“You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give.” Winston Churchill

Ways Of Giving

When you support Keystone Prep High School you support our mission to offer a different approach to high school, a school of choice for students with unique learning styles. At Keystone Prep, we challenge teens academically, strengthen them emotionally, and encourage them socially. We prepare each student to graduate with a well-developed plan for their future, and the self-confidence and skills to achieve success. We’re committed because the kids deserve it!

We are mindful of our mission in each action and decision we take. From the dedication of our loyal and devoted staff to our wonderful parent volunteers, Keystone focuses on providing our students with the skills and knowledge they need.

Tuition alone does not cover all expenses needed in private schools. We must fill the gap!  Fund-raising programs are essential to meet operating costs. The average cost to educate one student is $25,163.00. Tuition is over $18,000.00.  Every parent and guardian needs to support our fundraising and giving goals.  Scholarships are needed for many students. As a non-profit, independent school, we depend on the generosity of our Board of Trustees, corporate sponsors, current parents, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni, faculty, staff and friends. All gifts, large and small, make a difference in the life of a child.

Your Contributions are Needed

Capital Campaign

Keystone Prep needs major gifts to ensure the sustainability of its programs and advance and the development of the school itself.   That is most often done through a Capital Campaign.

As KPHS begins each school year, it does so having many needs as yet unresolved that could further the educational goals of the school.  The Sky is the Limit Capital Campaign for Keystone Prep High School is designed to secure the vital resources generously given by hopefully hundreds of donors, who want to transform this wonderful school into all it can become.  We are looking for both the leader and the lead gifts to begin this drive.  We need classrooms, extra-curricular programs, laboratories, sports fields, and most importantly – outstanding teachers and support staff to make this a reality.  For these ambitions to be realized qualified leaders need to step up to the plate and guide the school in the development of a Capital Campaign initiative that results in an ambitious renovation effort of existing spaces, ready in time for the beginning of the coming school year.  This will include securing modular units for overflowing classrooms, materials, and supplies for existing works in progress.

Grady Pridgen, Board of Trustees Chairman is the inspirational leader seeking the future of Keystone Prep High School.  KPHS needs a leading-edge arts and music building, classrooms, bigger Réussir and STEAM classrooms, more athletic programs, etc. and is challenging the KPHS community to step forward to support the capital campaign now.  He is calling on parent leaders to assist the Board of Trustees to make this a reality for our students. Mr. Pridgen has personally donated to benefit the school and continues to lead the financial drive for a Capital Campaign.

KPHS has many needs for renovation and development and we cannot achieve those needs without the support of our Giving Community.  He is putting forth this challenge as a call to arms in our school community to find game-changing support for the needs at Keystone Prep High School.

Every member of Keystone Prep Board of Trustees is committed to meet the challenge by stepping forward to pledge a gift to the “Sky is the Limit” campaign. The school community is being asked to follow their lead and provide for new classrooms and learning spaces just in time for the 2017-18 school year.  Much must be done. Be a part of the solution, and GIVE today.  Contact KPHSboardchair@keystoneprep.org

Fiona’s Fund

Fiona’s Philanthropy Fund began in December 2012 when ten-year-old Fiona heard about plans to reopen Keystone Prep High School. She wanted to do her part because she knew it would be the perfect school for her sister.  Fiona donated money from her allowance and became KPHS’s first official donor.  She wants to continue to encourage other kids to join her because every little bit can make a difference!
