Ways of Giving

When you support Keystone Prep High School, you support our students through our mission. At KPHS, we challenge teens academically, strengthen them emotionally, and encourage them socially. We prepare each student to graduate with a career plan for their future. We ensure the citizens of tomorrow have what they need to be independent rather than dependent people. Many students have been bullied and suffer from anxiety and depression only to learn here they can become happy and thriving young adults with the self-confidence and skills they need to achieve success in life.

Every donation made benefits our students in countless ways:

  • KPHS is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Donations help us grow and operate more effectively and efficiently.
  • Gifts improve classrooms and support teachers with technology such as Elmos or Smart Boards.
  • Need-based scholarships provide many families the opportunity to attend KPHS.
  • Donors may sponsor one student or several students, by paying their fees and tuition for a year.
  • Vehicle donations and financial support to maintain the vans assure we have on-going van routes.

Filling the Gap

Tuition alone does not cover all expenses for your child to attend KPHS for a year. The average cost to educate one student is $26,632.00. Mainstream tuition is only $19,900.00. We must fill the gap! Our school community’s support of fund-raising programs is essential to helping us meet operating costs. We need every parent or guardian to strongly support school fundraising efforts and giving goals, to keep tuition cost down.

Scholarships

Scholarships provide support for financially-challenged families. As a non-profit, independent school, we depend on the generosity of our Board of Trustees, corporate sponsors, current parents, grandparents, and the faculty and staff, who all contribute financially to benefit our students. All gifts, large and small, make a difference in the life of a child.

Fiona’s Fund

Fiona’s Philanthropy Fund began in 2012 when ten-year-old Fiona Walsh Calton heard about plans to start Keystone Prep High School. She knew it would be the perfect school for her sister. Fiona donated money from her own allowance and became KPHS’s first official donor. She wants to continue to encourage and challenge other siblings and young people to join her because every little bit can make a difference, to help make other students happy in the right school.

The Giving Tree

You’ll find The Giving Tree in the front lobby of Keystone Prep High School. Each person making a significant contribution to Keystone Prep receives a leaf that marks their donation. These funds are donated as unrestricted funds for the operating and support of the overall school. The educational leaders’ determine the most important needs for the greater good of the school with these funds, only requiring that their impact make a significant difference for students.

Scholarship Sponsors

Scholarship sponsors are superstars! They hear the plight of a child’s story and donate that student’s fees and tuition to the financial aid program, so the student can enroll and attend KPHS. These benevolent givers forever change the lives of young people who otherwise would not have the chance to attend KPHS. The student’s growth and success is the direct result of the sponsor’s gift.

Keystone Prep high School is a registered not for profit agency.
